8071 Product Review Used it on a couple of trips. The handle/wheels could be designed to detach easier. Overall construction is very good.

09, 2005 Title: Great computer case for navigating through airports I got tired of carrying my laptop (and cell phone, pda, ipod, noise canceling earphones, dvds, etc.) on my trips and wanted a case with wheels. I found this case and thought it would be perfect since it is detachable-the best of both worlds.
I've taken it on three trips now; Las Vegas, Europe (England and Scotland), and Phoenix and it has worked out very well. It really is nice to get off the plane, extend the handle, and then walk easily with no strain on my back. I'm tall (6'3") but the handle is long enough that I don't have to reach down at all. Very comfortable. The case is pretty big with the handle attached; it barely fits under the seat on most planes. That's ok, I usually put it in the overhead rack anyway.
On my next trip I may try detaching the case from the handle and then put the handle in the overhead rack and have the (much smaller) case under the seat so I can get at my stuff easily.
The case has the usual complement of pockets; the section where the laptop goes is particularly well protected. The zippers seem big and strong and I expect them to last a long time; but of course time will tell on that.
Overall I'm very pleased so far.

8071 Product Review I have had some problems with the zippers already. If it gets worse I will need to send it back. If the zippers don't fail me, it is a wonderful bag!

15, 2007 Title: Great item I bought this after buying another brand without wheels. Compared to this other brand even with the wheels, the McKlein is much better suited for my needs. The laptop compartment is very well protected and holds my large laptop where the other brand had a separate case that was too small, but did slide into it's own compartment in the briefcase. Realized the first time I flew that the wheels were necessary, too heavy to carry for long periods with the laptop on board. Separating the case from the wheeled frame is simple though not something I'd want to try to do quickly. Routinely carry the laptop in the McKlein and carry the other case on the shoulder strap, but when traveling it will be just the McKlein. The features, construction and materials are all first rate.

21, 2007 Title: Very elegant! This is a very nice bag but it could use a larger compartment specifically for a large MP3 player and headphones with case. The laptop compartment is very well padded but larger laptops may prove to be a bit tight. Extremely quiet wheels!!!
I especially like being able to detach the briefcase from the wheels or keep them on.
Easy fit for smaller plane carryon compartments.
